I founded Loveday Companions in 2016. As a child just shy of 7 years old. My mother became sick and I was inclined to help support my brothers and sister. Often my mother wouldn't be at home, so I knew getting through these tough times was important. I began learning how to cook, clean, wash clothes, run errands around the city, walk my brothers and sister to school, help them with studies, and all the daily activities. As I transitioned into adulthood, my mother eventually passed away shortly after high school. Despite this, I knew I wanted to have a career in nursing. My professional journey began with positions as a nursing assistant, home health aide, and medication aide. Which I later progressed to supervisor, administrative roles and earned a degree in culinary arts and hospitality with high honors. Over time I recognized the need to make more of a difference in my community. With over two decades of experience in nursing care, I became acutely aware of the scarce attention provided to the people during life events. Leading me to emphasize the importance of exceptional service.
